PenMoto is a magnetic ring that quickly retrieves and stores a pen making it possible to transition from writing to typing with the simple flick of a finger. We have SOLD OUT of the first edition and hope to have a second edition ready by Fall of 2012. Please Check back for Updates.
PenMoto’s concept originated after Kelvin Geis purchased a Wacom for photo editing. He loved the functionality and performance of the Wacom, but often found himself searching for its pen after typing or answering the phone. He needed a method to keep his Wacom more accessible and secure. So he and his brother got some masking tape and magnets and began experimenting. Four years later, their masking tape and magnet invention has evolved into what we call today PenMoto.
See some videos below on how it works.
PenMoto partners with your stylus during four and five finger gestures of Apple’s upcoming iOS 5. As well as other multi-touch gesture based apps such as Adobe’s Eazel and Sketchbook Pro.
There are many uses for PenMoto, the sky is the limit. From nurses to doctors, from teachers to students, anyone can enjoy having their pen ready.
